Alpha Arbutin – derived from the leaves of the bearberry plant, alpha arbutin inhibits the production of tyrosinase, an enzyme which controls the amount of pigment produced by the pigment cells.
Kojic Acid – a natural product derived from mushrooms, Kojic Acid has been used successfully to lighten age spots and skin discoloration. Kojic Acid also displays powerful antioxidant properties, helping to protect skin against free radical damage.
